Melissa Rodriguez Silva is a dedicated and involved student at Long Island University, where she serves as a residential advisor, providing support and guidance to her fellow residents. As a residential advisor, Melissa’s goal is to create a warm and welcoming campus environment. Her role allows her to connect with students from all backgrounds, ensuring that everyone feels supported. This is further seen in Melissa’s position as the Vice President and Co-Founder of the Latino Student Union, as she is passionate about fostering community and promoting inclusivity on campus. Melissa thrives on meeting new people and forming meaningful relationships. Along with her extracurricular interests, Melissa focuses heavily on her academic growth and progress through her involvement in the Pre-Law Society. Melissa’s bubbly personality and care for others are portrayed in everything she is involved in, as she seeks to make a positive impact within her community while expanding her academic career.
