About Kylee
Kylee Gross is a graduate student in Social Work at LIU and the captain of the women's rowing team for the second year in a row. She is passionate about amplifying student voices, particularly those of student-athletes whose demanding schedules often leave them underrepresented. Recognizing this gap, Kylee is committed to serving as a bridge between athletics and the Student Government Association (SGA) to ensure student-athletes are fully included in campus dialogue and decision-making. Kylee believes LIU is filled with opportunity, but stronger communication and collaboration between departments are essential for students to thrive. Her goal is to foster a more unified campus community where all students feel supported and heard. Kylee earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at LIU and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work. With her leadership experience as a team captain and her professional training in advocacy as a social work student, she is prepared to bring dedication, perspective, and determination to SGA, working to ensure every student's voice is represented.
