Have you ever watched Rocky? The original of course. Well I can tell you Long Island native Haralambos Constantatos has. It was the spring of his 7th grade year and he had just finished his first wrestling season. He watched the movie upon a suggestion from his Mom, but little did she know, she started a fire that has yet to be quenched. The young Haralambos became obsessed with wrestling and sought to become the best in the county. He trained just like Rocky for 7 days a week for 5 years. Though just like Rocky he fell short of his goal, but also like the movie he wasn't the only one affected by his efforts. He pushed his whole team to be better and now they are starting to produce some of the best wrestlers on the Island. Over the last year with wrestling over, LIU-Post has become a home to Haralambos. He can no longer sit back and not help what will soon become his alma mater reach its full potential. With that same unquenchable fire that he saw in Rocky, Haralambos through unceasing hard work will do what is needed to improve every single area of LIU.
