About Mani

Maní Boyd is a sophomore here at LIU and on the Women’s Rugby team, majoring in Business Administration. She is known for her generosity, leadership, integrity, and eagerness to get things done for the betterment of others' lives. Since being at LIU, Maní has actively been involved in meeting and helping a plethora of students, trying to be someone that she knows others can go to for help mentally and physically. Her deep connection with the student body represents her desire to make every voice feel and know they’re heard. Maní is also passionate about improving the student experience. Such as increasing the transparency between the administration and the students, reflecting LIU’s diverse student body, improving study, academic help resources, after-college planning,  and improving school spirit step by step. Maní believes in a collaborative approach to leadership—listening first, then acting with purpose. Her campaign centers around accessibility, accountability, and authenticity. Maní promises to advocate tirelessly for student concerns and work closely with both students and university leadership to create sustainable solutions.
